Dalila Parreira Bio

PT: Sou a Dalila Parreira, artista visual autodidata, natural de Melides. Após nove anos de serviço na Força Aérea Portuguesa, decidi dedicar-me inteiramente à arte, iniciando um percurso marcado pela liberdade criativa, pelas viagens e pela procura constante de inspiração na natureza.

A minha prática artística centra-se na pintura de paisagens, explorando texturas e pigmentos naturais recolhidos durante as minhas viagens, estabelecendo uma ligação entre o lugar, a matéria e a obra.

Nos últimos anos, tenho desenvolvido projetos em diferentes países, onde a pintura ao vivo (live painting) passou a ocupar um lugar de destaque no meu percurso artístico.

Atualmente vivo e trabalho no Alentejo, continuando a desenvolver uma linguagem artística inspirada pela natureza, pelas viagens e pelas paisagens que encontro ao longo do caminho.

EN: I am Dalila Parreira, a self-taught visual artist from Melides, Portugal. After nine years of service in the Portuguese Air Force, I decided to dedicate myself entirely to art, beginning a journey shaped by creative freedom, travel, and a constant search for inspiration in nature.

My artistic practice focuses on landscape painting, exploring textures and natural pigments collected during my travels, creating a connection between place, material, and artwork.

In recent years, I have developed projects in different countries, with live painting becoming an important part of my artistic journey.

I currently live and work in Alentejo, continuing to develop an artistic language inspired by nature, travel, and the landscapes I encounter along the way.
